Merieux Building Construction at Cornerstone is Complete

The 22,700 sq ft facility is the first new addition to the Cornerstone Commercial Campus.

Concept Companies has completed construction of the Merieux NutriSciences’ new laboratory at Cornerstone, located at 2183 SE Hawthorne Road. The Cornerstone campus redevelopment is a commercial-focused mixed-use development that will accommodate a variety of uses. It is one of the CRA’s two major transformative initiatives currently underway in east Gainesville. The Merieux facility is the first new addition to Cornerstone.

Merieux NutriSciences’ Gainesville laboratory is 22,700 square feet and will provide nutritional analysis, sensory testing with consumer taste panels and focus groups, FDA detention services, and retail and food service quality programs. Merieux NutriSciences is headquartered in Chicago, IL, a subsidiary of Institut Merieux. Institut Merieux operates in 22 countries worldwide.
